  1. Activate the yeast by adding yeast , tsp of sugar and warm water.
  2. In a bowl add the flour , salt, remaining sugar and half of 1 egg and butter.mix it well then pour the activated yeast mixture and required water and form into a dough and knead the dough for 5 mins to make it a soft dough.keep it in warm place for 1 hour to double in size.
  3. To prepare the filling slightly crush the coconut then add all the ingredients under filling and mix it well.
  4. You can avoid the colour if you dont like it but it looks so beautiful when cut and served..
  5. pre heat oven to 180 degree
  6. whwn the dough is doubled in size divide into 2 portion and roll into a 1/2inch thickness circle .
  7. Then spread the filling and layer it with another similar circle .seal the sides and give a milk wash.bake @180 c for 25-30 mins until top layer is slightly browned..
