Chocolate chip oats cookies

A visual treat….

Healthy crunchier oats cookies packed with chocolate chips ..

These cookies are hit in my family..my kids love these cookies and its their favourite munching snacks… but hubby dont prefer having with chocolate chip so for him I just keep the half of the dough seperate before adding the chocolate chips. And I add crushed walnuts on top of the cookies. As in first picture you can see i have kept half walnut oats cookies for my hubby…The best part of this recipe is you can make any variation to these cookies that you want you can add nuts, cranberries, raisins, white chocolate etc..After finding this recipe for cookies i have never bought cookies from outside…I feel it much healthier version….majority of flour used is oats..usually rolled oats are used for these cookies but I preferred using powdered oats which is just made by powdering the oats.

These are delicious cookies that are super-quick to make when you need to satisfy a cookie fix…I make it every week..

usually i make these cookie dough in advance and refrigerate it after making some of it.Before preparing next batches you can keep the dough 10 mins outside then use it..These cookies taste better when dough is refrigerated…so it will taste better next day…

My kids have fun having these cookies by counting the chocolate chips on top…as you can see in the last picture.

This recipe goes to the blogging marathon BM#71 week 4 for second day under the theme “cakes and cookies”..
