Two years ago I hit PUBLISH and created myself a new commitment to blog my cooking recipes.. Today I am celebrating my second year blog anniversary… blogiversary and I am feeling, well, a bit more excited than before with all your support.. A very big thank you to all who are with me in giving ideas to advices in growing me better in the last 730 days with 280 recipes

Your attitude of welcoming new cuisines nd recipe have encouraged me to search and try for more recipes…

I thoroughly  enjoy my blogging experience as this field has given me more friends and new experiences and challenges..I feel satisfied and happy when the recipes I post are useful to others.I cherish the emails and messages I get from my viewers who all tried my recipes and also happy to see their picture of dish prepared from my blog..

Recently I have started a YouTube videos too.. All your support has given me a confidence to try my hands on video making.. Insha allah will try to do more on future.

To Mark this celebration of Asheescookbook I have prepared a fontant cake.Trying my hands first time on fontant icing.. Alhamdhulila it was a success.

The base for this cake is hot milk sponge cake which is one of the best recipe in my blog .. In this situation I like to thank all my viewers  who have tried this recipe and sent me the picture and comments..thank you so much… many of them have tried this cake and told that it’s one of best cake.I have used store bought fontant  as it was my first trial… Decorated with simple designs… It was easy for me to shape the flowers as I make flowers with clay for my craft work so it was bit easy for me.

Fontant cake ~Blog 2nd Anniversary

Hot milk sponge vanilla cake frosted with buttercream and decorated with fontant icing to celebrate the blog's  2nd anniversary

Instructions

  1. Cut the 8"inch cake into half and frost with butter cream..give a crumb coating outside and set in refrigerator
  2. Roll the fontant icing and decorate it
