Nutella Kesari

 

The traditional south indian delicacy rava kesari made with nutella..The nutty flavour of the nutella that gives a different twist to the kesari.Adding more richness to the sweet with nutella.

Instant sweet which can be made in all occasion is kesari .there are variety of kesari made nowadays with fruits , nuts etc… I think even with chocolate they have made….Today I was as normal going to make kesari but my hubby turned to me and asked why donot you try with nutella ….It sounded good to me….In no time I got curious to make it and came out well..He is alwsys like this coming up suddenly with new twists….

 

who dont love nutella so surely this is going to hit everyone…

  1. Heat a pan add the rava with the ghee (2 tbsp).Fry in medium flame,with constant stirring until a nice aroma comes (the rava will start turning golden brown).
  2. Transfer the mixture to a plate and set aside. Add the water to the pan and bring to boil. Add the roasted rava little by little to the boiling water and keep stirring simultaneously.Take care no lumps are formed,keep in medium flame and stir well.
  3. Keep in low flame and cook covered for 3-4 minutes or until the rava gets cooked well.
  4. Add the sugar and keep the flame in medium and stir well until no lumps are formed in medium flame for 4-5 minutes until sugar melts then add nutella and stir well till it forms as a whole mass(doesn't stick to the pan at all). Add sugar more if needed more sweet
  5. Add ghee fried cashews cardomom powder to this if desired. :Grease a plate with ghee and spread the kesari in it and after cooling down,draw as diamonds with a knife as you desired
