Today It’s third day challenge of this week in blogging marathon #82  under the theme “Bite size appetizer”.. last to days I have come up with a non veg dish with chicken so today its vegetarian…

A simple quick to make pakode with yellow lentil/moongdal… as similar to the parippu vada… I usually make parippu vada with channa dal . When I wanted to make a crunchy snack  this recipe came across and tried it…

Instructions
  1. Add the soaked dal in a mixie jar then add onion,coriander, greenchilli, ginger asafoetida, baking soda , rice flour and salt grind it to coarse mixture.
  2. Heat oil and drop small portion of mixture and fry till golden and crispy.

  6. Moong dal pakore are my father’s favorite. Whenever he visits us, I make it for him. Your’s addition of rice flour must have made them more crisp. I’ll certainly try them with rice flour next time
