Its time for another magic cake.This cake has layer of vanilla sponge cake and caramel coated flan layer which magically switches on baking..

while adding the cake batter to the layer of flan mixture it seems to be mixing to together but forms seperate layer magically on baking .lets have a look at the recipe below…

Instructions
  1. CARAMEL LAYER Add sugar to a pan cook until it reaches the brown colour(caramelised) then immediately add the hot water and mix it to form a sauce .pour this into the cake pan and keep it aside
  2. FLAN LAYER In a mixie jar add milk ,sugar,vanillaessence,egg beat till frothy and mixed together see tat sugar has dissolved add this on top of the caramel layer
  3. SPONGE CAKE Sift together flour,bakingpowder,salt . seperate egg yolk and white.beat egg white till peaks are formed.beat yolk and sugar till creamy to this add oil , honey , vanilla essence and mix it well then add dry ingredients and mix well when all mixture is well mixed slowly fold the egg white.if the batter is thick u can add 2 tbsp of milk .pour this batter over the flan mixtue dont mix it jst give a tap to the cake tin and bake at 180xb0c 55 to 60 mins until top layer is set.
  4. Here ingredients usedis for smaller cake tin u can double it for larger pan...
