Honey Mug cake

Honey mug cake , soft, spongy  cake made with minimal ingredients  with the taste of honey  prepared in less than 2 minutes.

This is my first post for the Facebook event fantastical food fight I came across this event recently from my fellow blogger’s. This month theme is “Honey”. Am very much exited to do this month challenge and to come across many more bloggers..

Today’s recipe is a quick and easy to make mug cake with honey that can be made in less than 2 minutes…. can you imagine it.. the texture of the cake is so soft and spongy as in prepare in oven.. The highlight of the cake is enhanced flavour of  honey ..

I love mug cakes as they satisfy your sweet tooth anytime needed…

 

Step by step picture

Add the honey, egg ,butter and vanilla in a mug  and beat with a fork until combined.

Add the sugar, flour and beat again until fully combined and smooth

Cook in the microwave for around  90 seconds

  1. Add the honey, egg ,butter and vanilla in a mug  and beat with a fork until combined.
  2. Add the sugar, flour and beat again until fully combined and smooth.
  3. Cook in the microwave for around 90 seconds (depending on your microwave power), then allow to cool
  4. Optional) Drizzle with extra honey and serve immediately.
