Homemade Pancake Mix

Homemade pancake are so delicious……especially when you can whip them up in 2 minutes!so if you have a homemade pancake mix handy in your kitchen Its very  easy we just need to mix it with egg ,water and oil and there comes the perfect pancake batter ready for breakfast…. I  make this powder and store it for long so when  needed its easy to prepare . sometimes I have also prepared waffles with batter not so bad… although I have a good  wholewheat waffle recipe with me (will upload later)..but when in hurry and lazy will continue with this batter…. You can also substitute the whole wheat with other whole grains also…

When you want to prepare the pancakes from mix Then take

#1 1/2 cup pancake  mix

#1 cup water

#2 tbsp oil

#1 egg

mix it together .thiswill make about 6-8 pancakes . If you want thick pancskes then add 1/4cup mix to the batter you will get thick batter and pancakes ..They are light and  fluffy..

You can make different  pancakes by adding :

  • Berries
  • Cinnamon and apple chunks
  • Finely chopped nuts
  • Poppy seeds and lemon zest
  • Chocolate chips
  • Coconut and banana..

  11. LOVE LOVE LOVE PANCAKES! Lol between pancakes and waffles, pancakes always wins. lol recently they have been my sister and I’s midnight snack. Haven’t made home-made ones in forever, just been using the pack of 6 from Woolworths, but I think it’s time I take it back to oldschool. Love the idea of keeping it in a jar!(www.beautywithzainy.com and http://www.spicyfusionkitchen.com)
